Update on Kayla

Kayla is 18 months old and growing by leaps and bounds. Within the past month she has blossomed into an interesting little girl. Let me share with you a few things. :) She sings all the time. Two days ago she started singing "E I E I O....MOOOO." Her vocabulary has increased to Mommy, Daddy, Hello, Amen, Poooooopy, Cheeeeesse and Ouch. She does well at communicating. For example if she wants me to read to her then she will come over take my hand and use my finger to tap the book. Letting me know she wants to read this book and I do.
She enjoys pretty things. Jewelery, purses on her wrist (rubber bands on her wrist) and shoes. She wears everyone's shoes. Yesterday she started picking out her clothes. I had just put an outfit on her and she pulled a new pretty pink shirt and pants. After I changed her she was fine wearing those clothes all day. Today she wants to wear a dress. She likes soft but blingy clothes. She reminds me of someone I know! ;)

She knows how to push buttons and doesn't back down. I was holding her recently and she just reached up and punched me in the face. Not once but twice. She LOVES to push Adrian's buttons. He was in her space so she pushed him, he hit her then she hit him back. He looked at her but did nothing. She went ahead and pushed him. The biggest thing that Adrian HATES for her to do is pull his hair. I have a hard time trying not to laugh. They will be sitting close together and she will lean over and pull his hair. We are working on how to be nice. Rub his hair don't pull it. She loves Adrian and enjoys giving him kisses. Instructions are kisses on the cheek only!

She is in nursery and is doing well as long as I stay out. She will fold her arms during family prayer time and will say Amen. She can drink from a cup, use a fork and spoon. She enjoys the outdoors. I sent her and Adrian outside to play. Adrian helped her up onto the trampoline by using the kids table outside. I watched him help her down onto the table the onto the ground. His words often are "it's ok kayla. i am your big brother. i'll take care of you." It always brings tears to my eyes when I hear and feel the love he has for her. Our family is blessed and we are so grateful for our children. Thank you to our birthmothers and their families. May God Bless you with his love!!

Hey Sandy,
Your old layout is still in there. If you go to your sidebar and delete the coding for the old layout, then it will all show through correctly!
