We started the morning out by heading over to church. Pancake breakfast, then the kids made hats and decorated their bikes. We have a parade with kids and adults riding their bikes. Adrian really loved it. He has a bike with training wheels. Towards the end our friends, Kyle and Sharo invited us to go with them to a parade.
Adrian and I, the Barrows and the Burtenshaws drove out to Melba (about 45 minutes away). We got to see the parade and watch the kids chase the candy as it was thrown to them. Adrian was eating it as fast as he could get it. I finally had to tell him to put it in his pocket. That he was excited about. Adrian would yell as loud as he could, "HEYYYY!!!!" and then wave like crazy. It was really funny. After the parade we headed into town to let the kids play some games.
After Ryan went to work, Adrian and I headed to Rulon and Beth's house to watch the fireworks. Only they were invited to someone's house for a fireworks party, so we tagged along. It was a blast!! They had a slip n slide in the front of the house, and a pool for the little kids. In the back the kids played dodge ball, but only it was with sponges and water. They also had a trampoline that John and Adrian enjoyed. When the fireworks started Adrian did not like it. He was crying, kept saying "to loud mommy, go home." :) We did get to see 5 other fireworks displaying going on at the same time (5 other towns). That was neat to see.
We got home about midnight. Great day!
