OOOOO weee look at that!

Don't you remember those funny things your child does that just makes you laugh. WELL.....this afternoon I was sitting at the desk checking my e-mails. Adrian came over and wanted up on the desk to sit with me. That puts him facing me and it's his moment to check out the computer or play hand slapping games with me (like high or low 5). As I am checking my e-mail I see him checking out my shirt in a curious kind of way. Then before I realize it he pulls my shirt open, it has elastic so it can go out far. He yells out "OOOO WEEEEE LOOK AT THAT!" And you know what he is looking at when he says something like that. Then he starts to stick his hand down my shirt. I quickly give him a lesson in "NO TOUCHING THERE!" :) Boundaries....time to set them for my courious little man.


TENDER MOMENTS:

Last week I feel asleep on the couch. I hadn't been feeling well all day. Ryan had gotten home and took Adrian outside. I heard the door open, assuming they came in the house. I soon heard this little boy say mommys asleep. Ryan said something but I couldn't hear it. I went back to sleep, but was quickly interrupted by a little person climbing up on my lap. He gave me a tender loving kiss on cheek. It was so sweet. It help me think of why I love being a mom.

Another time Adrian called me a princess. Then he said pretty princess, mommy. I loved it. I love being a mom!
