Doctors Appointment for Adrian

Age 4 year old checkup

WT: 38 lbs./85%
HT: 40 inches/50%

The office tried to do a hearing and eye test. He didn't want anything to do with it. :) Doctor looked him over and he is in good health. His ears have a little pressure (like if your going into the mountains and your ears are plugged) but she said it should get better in a few days. I was glad to hear this because he has been having trouble hearing me lately. I really enjoy the office. Our Doctor gave him a book for have. When they get shots, they get a bouncy ball and as we leave there are stickers. Adrian had 4 shots today and it took 3 people to hold him down. He fights and kicks. I am glad the shots are done for awhile.

Some fun things about Adrian:
he is a daddy's boy.....he enjoys helping dad "fix" things around the house or work on the cars/trucks.
he is a really funny kid, often saying things that make me laugh.
he says great prayers and will say Amen 2 or 3 times before he is officially done with the prayer.
he is a good eater, I have found very few things that he won't eat right now. (mushrooms)
he is getting better at potty training. I finally gave up on "forcing the issue". When I quite bugging him, he got better at it.
he is loving to his sister....ok most of the times, when he is not laying on top of her or rolling her over or taking a toy from her. He likes to feed her food. He will pick her up and carry her across the room just to move her out of way. He will take paper out of her mouth or dig for something in her mouth that she shouldn't have. He shares his toys with her, right now. LOL I love to see him give her hugs.
he says sweet things to the family. Sunday he told me that I was beautiful. He just told Timmy to get up and be happy. He will say "How was your day today mommy? Did ya have a good day?" He will say "Kayla is so pretty". It's nice to hear him say kind things.
he is very excited about attending preschool this fall. YEA!! Thanks Darci.

Adrian we love you for teaching us patients, love, understanding and how to be a better parent!!

I'm glad to hear I don't have the only kid that needs several people to hold him down for shots!
