my children and my husband. He HATES shopping, of course he will tell you it's not that bad but he really doesn't like it. Reminds me of going to the dentist to get a tooth pulled. You know you gotta go but you don't want to. LOL. This was going to be his first shopping experience with coupon shopping.
As we headed down the first row he asked "Do we have to go down every row?" LOL. I don't have to tell you what my reply was. :) I didn't have a plan because I didn't really need anything. I just needed to find a few "free" grocery items. We found a loaf of bread with a $1.00 coupon and Albertsons was doubling, .50 cents a loaf wasn't a bad deal!!! Here are my other deals:
5 Loafs of bread
1 Tuna Pouch
2 Cottonelle TP
20 BBQ Sauce---buy 10 at .99 cents each. After the total you get $5.00 off. Then I gave the cashier #2--$1.00 off coupons and she doubled that. I paid $1.08 for 10 bottles!!!
Total out of pocket $9.10 (and I have #4--$1.00 Catalina coupons to use)
